Big crocodile in the river

The crocodile's tail, thick as a tree trunk, thrashed lazily against the riverbed, stirring up silt and sending ripples across the surface. Every so often, it would exhale, sending a puff of air into the atmosphere, a sound like a low growl rumbling from deep within its chest. Its presence in the river was a constant reminder of the raw power of nature, a force to be both respected and feared.
