Stellantis Buckles Under Trump's Tariff Pressure

In November, Trump threatened a 100% tariff on Stellantis if jobs moved to Mexico. After the UAW strike and negotiations, Stellantis was planning to move production of vehicles to Mexico. Now Stellantis has made some big changes, hiring back performance expert, Tim Kuniskis and putting him in charge of the Ram truck line. This was a smart move.

Stellantis is making a number of US moves in response to the new Trump administration and its focus on building products in America. This includes the production of a mid-sized pickup to compete with Ford, Chevrolet and GMC.
