I will be reviewing and showing the Holiday Inn Resort Baruna in Bali Indonesia, this is an amazing resort to stay in which will fit the budget and comfort of the common traveler, its also very close to the airport in the event you will only be here for a day or two and want full comfort. This resort includes a front beach area, it has two main restaurants where you can grab breakfast, lunch or dinner, and small bar areas near the pool. I will show you the biggest room they have, which is the one I stayed at, comfortable to fit a family of 4 or 5 people.

Bali, one of Indonesia's most famous islands, has a rich history that spans thousands of years, blending indigenous traditions with external influences. Early evidence of human settlement on Bali dates back to around 2000 BCE, with the island’s early inhabitants influenced by Austronesian cultures. Bali’s history took a significant turn with the arrival of Indian traders and missionaries around the 1st century CE, which introduced Hinduism and Buddhism, laying the foundation for Bali's unique cultural identity. Over the centuries, Bali became a powerful and independent kingdom, with various dynasties rising and falling, particularly during the Majapahit Empire’s dominance in the 14th century. When the empire collapsed, many of its Hindu-Balinese elites fled to Bali, solidifying Hinduism as the dominant religion and shaping the island’s distinct culture. Bali was later colonized by the Dutch in the 19th century, but it remained fiercely resistant, with a notable rebellion in 1906 when the Balinese royals and their people chose to die in a ritualized act of defiance. Following Indonesia's independence in 1945, Bali became a key part of the nation, known worldwide for its stunning landscapes, vibrant traditions, and rich art forms. Today, Bali is a major global tourist destination, but it remains deeply rooted in its cultural heritage, offering a unique blend of history, religion, and artistry.
