As we walked toward Pont de la Concorde along Quai Anatole France, we passed by the Assemblée nationale - Palais Bourbon, 126 Rue de l'Université, 75007 Paris, France. This building house the French National Assembly since 1879 , located on the Quai d'Orsay in the enfilade of the Pont de la Concorde and the Place de la Concorde . The hotel of the Minister of Foreign Affairs is adjoining, but the two architectural ensembles do not communicate. It is guarded by the 2nd Infantry Regiment of the Republican Guard .

The Pont de la Concorde crosses the Seine between the Quai des Tuileries ( Place de la Concorde ) and the Quai d'Orsay . Throughout its history, it has been known as the "Pont Louis XVI", "Pont de la Révolution", "Pont de la Concorde", again "Pont Louis XVI" during the Restoration ( 1814 ), and definitively "Pont de la Concorde" since 1830. It has been listed as a historic monument since June 12, 1975
