This channel is specially made for the youth of Malaysia. Its main focus is on the younger generation. So basically the channel is terrestrial and completely free for Malaysian citizens. It is basically an entertainment channel.
It broadcasts dramas and informational and religious programs. In 2006, TV9 was launched. Media Prima Berhad Group owns and runs this channel. It broadcasts programs in Malay. TV3 and NTV7 are known as its sibling channels.
In 2003, it started as a test channel. But In 2006, it was officially launched as a TV9. In 2015, it gained popularity throughout Malaysia. So now it’s live streaming is available on many social media platforms and also on TVMalaysia.me totally free.
