Aussie Rappelling & Shooting.

As a young girl, I was naturally confident, competent, and brave—but being a "girl" often meant I was held back from doing the "crazy" things I would dream up in my imagination. I was constantly told, "No, Hannah, you can’t do that unless a man goes with you." It was always framed as being "for my own safety," but hearing "no" enough times made me start believing I needed a man to pursue the adventures and life I dreamed of. So at some point I quit dreaming and believing I was capable on my own.

Through some tough Life experiences though, I remembered something important: I’m fully capable—with or without anyone by my side. Don’t get me wrong, men are incredible partners on life’s missions, but I know now that I don’t have to wait for them—and they don’t have to wait for me anymore.

All those adventures I wasn’t allowed to join as a kid because I “couldn’t keep up, or because I was a girl”? Well, now I’m the one challenging my brother to keep up with me. Being a woman isn’t a weakness; it’s a strength that requires creativity and determination—just in a different, feminine form.

My brother and I spent the day playing our own version of "war games" in the Rocky Mountains behind the family ranch where we grew up, turning childhood dreams into epic realities.

I know some people will roll their eyes at this, while others will send a fist bump—and that’s fine. The gun industry can feel way too serious sometimes. It’s built a culture of intimidation and ego that keeps the average civilian from joining in. Everyone feels "they" have it figured out and if you don't do it their way then you’re doing it the wrong way. I’m here to change that.

Doing things with guns because it sounds fun is reason enough for me. Call it "tacticool", I'll totally own that shit. As a women, a mom and a civilian instructor, I'm on a mission to constantly pursue self mastery not only in my own life but also in the art of shooting firearms—while having a really good time doing it all.

And for all the firearms safety police itching to throw their red flags and feel significant: don’t. Unless you were there, keep your comments in check. Safety was a priority, and NO ONE was harmed in the making of this video... unless you count your ego after reading this. 😉 Next thing you know, we are all going to be required to wear helmets in order to carry a gun. Cheers!
