Wine Tasting Due Cani Red Blend Penns Woods Winery PA, USA

Someone tell me how a blend of Cabernet Franc, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Carmine Franc ends up tasting like a Pinot Noir! No absolutely serious, I have no idea how! It's lighter like a Pinot Noir, more acidic like a Pinot Noir, silky smooth like a Pinot Noir, yet is not a Pinot Noir! My brain exploded determining that! It was nice to try a Penns Woods Winery wine on the channel again; it's been...how long since the last Penns Woods wine? I'm not sure I want to dig through the archives to find out!
