Estimating Earth's Average Density

In this video, I walk through the process of estimating the average density of the Earth by modeling it as three distinct regions: the inner core, outer core, and mantle. I explain how to calculate the mass and volume of each region and how to derive the overall density from these values. I also compare our estimated density with the actual density and calculate the percent difference between the two. Please make sure to follow along and try to replicate the calculations on your own.
