Michael Fish's NBC26 Storm Shield weather forecast
High pressure will control our weather for the next several days. We're going to start to warm things up a little more today with highs in the low-80s, though cooling a bit along Lake Michigan. We'll be mostly clear and quiet on tonight with some patchy fog late. Lows will be in the mid/upper-50s. Thursday should be a lot like Wednesday with possibly a few more clouds and highs around 80° once again, though cooler lakeside. We'll stay in the 80s going right though the weekend, though you'll feel that humidity going up as well. There is a very small chance of a little rain on Saturday to the north, but it shouldn't be a big deal. It's looking like we're going to cool things down as we go into Tuesday and thereafter with temps going down from the 70s to even 60s for highs. We are watching Hurricane Florence. Although we will not be directly impacted by it's remnants...it could slow down weather systems headed out way.
