In the first week of President Donald Trump’s Mass Deportation, more than 1,300 illegal migrants have been arrested and are being deported out of the country. 1,000 of those illegals have criminal records.
Border Czar Tom Homan, along with top Trump administration officials are in Chicago as , ICE has confirmed that it has started “enhanced targeted operations” in the city and suburbs.
ICE is coordinating with multiple federal agencies “to enforce U.S. immigration law”
Those agencies include the FBI, DEA, ATF, U.S. Marshals, and the Department of Homeland Security, according to a spokesperson.
Deportation operations have been launched in 10 major cities so far, with Homan saying they are focusing on criminals first, but any illegal found will be rounded up and shipped out. Then, any and all illegals will be deported.
An average of 433 illegal migrants are being arrested a day, with that number expected to rise drastically. Homan saying Biden’s rules of not allowing ICE to arret migrants unless they were convicted of a serious crime, are over.
Raids have taken place in major cities such as Boston, Denver, New York City, and Philadelphia, to name a few.
