Garlic Butter Steak and Mushrooms has tender slices of steak and mushrooms in a rich and tasty butter sauce! This is a quick and fuss free recipe, made with simple ingredients and guaranteed to satisfy everyone!!

Garlic Butter Steak & Mushrooms

Ingredients
1 1/2 lbs steak (I used flap meat/skirt steak)
4 tablespoons butter, divided
8 oz mushrooms, sliced
1 onion, sliced
5 garlic cloves, minced
1 tablespoon soy sauce
1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
1/2 cup water

Directions
Season steak on both sides with salt and pepper.
Heat oil in a pan over medium high heat and sear the steak on both sides (for skirt steak/flap meat about 2-3 minutes per side, depending on the thickness). Let steak rest for 5 minutes before slicing thin against the grain.
Add 1 tablespoon of butter along with more oil and sauté mushrooms, onions and garlic. Season with salt and pepper and cook for 4-5 minutes.
Stir in soy sauce and Worcester sauce.
Stir in water and cook for 30 seconds.
Return beef back to the pan along with the rest of the butter. Once butter has melted remove from heat.
