Man arrested for online threats to Trump

A Florida man, Shannon Depararro Atkins, 46, was arrested near his West Palm Beach home for allegedly making online threats against President Donald Trump.

Police said Atkins posted violent rhetoric, including a meme referencing a 2024 assassination attempt, on Facebook.

He claimed the posts were jokes, but authorities emphasized the seriousness of such threats, ABC News has reported.
