Gospel of Luke #40 "This is My beloved Son. Listen to Him." (01-26-2025)

Luke 9:27-36 Jesus led His disciples to the region around Caesarea Philippi to teach them about the Church. He selected three of His closest disciples' and led them to the top of a high mountain to be alone. I believe this mountain was Mount Hermon, which is in the northern most part of the land of Israel. There on top of the mountain, Jesus was transfigured before them and was joined by Moses, Elijah, and Father God. Peter wrote about this event in his last epistle as he was in prison in Rome, waiting to be publicly executed by Nero for his testimony of Jesus.
