The vetting of Jesus consisted of the three primary temptations that Satan uses on everyone; physical, emotional, and psychological. Or the flesh, the eyes, and pride. Jesus used scripture three times to counter and defeat these temptations in such a way that these sacred texts still impact our lives today!
