Keir Starmer, calling him a "very good person" who
has done "a very good job so far. Despite their
political differences, the former US president said
he respects Sir Keir's leadership and enjoys a
strong relationship with him. Speaking to CediRadio
aboard Air Force One, Mr. Trump revealed plans for
an upcoming conversation with the UK prime
minister. "I get along with him well. L like him a lot,"
he said. "He's liberal, which is different from me,
but I think he's a very good person. He's
represented his country well, and while I may not
agree with his views, I respect him."Mr. Trump also
hinted that the UK could be the destination for his
first international trip if he secures a second term in
office. "It could be Saudi Arabia, it could be the UK.
Traditionally, it might be the UK" he added. The two
leaders last met at Trump Tower in New York
during the US presidential campaign and spoke by
phone after Mr. Trump's re-election victory.
Downing Street described the call as positive, with
both leaders reaffirming the close relationship
between the UK and the US.The praise comes
