The Seven Wonders of the Ancient World were remarkable constructions of classical antiquity, showcasing human ingenuity and ambition.

They included the Great Pyramid of Giza (the only surviving wonder), the Hanging Gardens of Babylon, the Statue of Zeus at Olympia, the Temple of Artemis at Ephesus, the Mausoleum at Halicarnassus, the Colossus of Rhodes, and the Lighthouse of Alexandria.

Built between the 3rd millennium BCE and the 3rd century BCE, these wonders exemplified architectural and artistic achievements but most were destroyed by natural disasters or human actions.

They remain symbols of ancient cultural and engineering prowess.
