Applying Plaster basecoat to large ceiling patch in Medina NY

After removing the damaged plaster and installing metal lath, we began applying the plaster basecoat to the ceiling and dropped most of it off our hawk. This happens because unlike drywall compound, plaster doesn't stick to anything which is what makes it very difficult for people to work with.
