Moxham Mountain, located in the Adirondack Park in New York, is a relatively small but
significant peak with a rich history tied to the surrounding region. Rising to about
2,300 feet, it offers stunning views of the nearby lakes and mountains, making it a
popular hiking destination.
Before European settlers arrived, the area around Moxham Mountain was inhabited by the
Iroquois and Algonquin tribes. They used the land for hunting and gathering, taking
advantage of the natural resources available in the Adirondacks.
