'George Smiley Goes Home' (1979) Audio Play by John le Carré

The audio play did not exist so I created it (using bot-men and bot-women) from the original play script - that was published in 'New Crimes' magazine in 1979.

It's just a mini-play that gives us further insights in George Smiley's character and his place in the world outside the circus.

John le Carré fans will recognize that this mini-play is an extraction and elaboration, on an event that occurred in the 1961 le Carré novel, 'Call for the Dead'.
