Coffee Utilized Production Up 9 Percent from Last Season

USDA has released a new report on US coffee production. Bearing acreage totaled decreased. But coffee production increased because the yield increased.

The report says,

"Hawaii utilized coffee production is forecast at 21.0 million pounds (cherry basis) for the 2024-2025 season, up 9 percent from the previous season. Bearing acreage totaled 7,000 acres, down 400 acres from the previous year. Average yield, at 3,440 pounds (cherry basis) per acre, was up 290 pounds from the previous year."
