Florida farmer Tony DiMare—who voted for Donald Trump—is now worried that Trump’s mass deportation plans will actually hurt farmers like him. After DeSantis’s crackdown on immigrants, many immigrant workers fled to Georgia, which left farmers in Florida with a labor shortage. He told Bloomberg farmers “had to let their crops rot” as a result, and warned that another crackdown from Trump will hurt farmers even more. Unfortunately for Mr. DiMare, he’s going to get exactly what he voted for. In this video we’ll discuss Trump’s Executive Orders, mass deportation as well as the Laken Riley Act and explain how these policy changes will impact immigrants.
