Silent Perspectives of Lower Soda Falls @ Cascadia Linn County Park near Lebanon & Sweet Home Oregon, and on the Western edge near Willamette National Forest! Each 4K clip is original, no clip appears twice.

This was a Day Hike, starting at Cascadia County Park operated by Linn County (formerly a State Park), Hiking Lower Soda Falls Trail paralleling babbling Soda Creek up to the ABSOLUTELY GORGEOUS Lower Soda Falls! This Out & Back Hike is approximately 1.4 Miles & 350 FT Elevation Gain Roundtrip. *Here is the FULL WATERFALL HIKE VIDEO:*

Situated on the edge of Willamette National Forest, this is a particularly VIBRANT and LUSCIOUS GREEN area of Forest, Creek & Waterfall! *In my humble opinion, this is arguably a Top 10 Waterfall Hike in the State of Oregon, A TRUE HIDDEN GEM!* This was Hiked on 5/21/23, and Mosquitoes were non-existent, but it was slightly buggy overall.

About Cascadia Linn County Park:

Cascadia Linn County Park (formerly State Operated) is managed by Linn County in Oregon. There is a very high quality Campground and the area has a very rich history and abundant natural beauty. The two main Hikes at Cascadia County Park are:

1) Lower Soda Falls Trail - 1.4 miles, 350+ FT Elevation Gain - Hike on the East side of the Campground paralleling babbling Soda Creek up to Lower Soda Falls! An absolutely GORGEOUS Waterfall well worth the Hike, a Top 10 Waterfall Hike in the State of Oregon and a True Hidden Gem in my humble opinion! It is pretty well graded evenly through the Hike. CAUTION - BE CAREFUL at the Lower Soda Falls Zone! There are multiple vantage points and you can climb down to the bottom of the Waterfall Basin, but there is some danger due to the steep drops offs, personally I would NOT consider this area "kid-friendly", and would only recommend exploring down to the Waterfall Basin if an individual is confident, nimble, and sure-footed. EXPLORE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!!!!!! That said, it is very beautiful Waterfall Zone and Forest Trail is most definitely worth the Hike!

2) Soda Springs Trail - a few tenths of a mile up to 2.4 miles, under 100 FT Elevation Gain - Hike down to the shoreline of South Santiam River! The first access point at the bottom of the stairs is probably the best one, but you can do up to 2.4 miles roundtrip if desired by continuing to parallel the Shoreline! This Trail doesn't have a definitive endpoint so the turnaround point can be a bit anti-climatic. The main focus of this Hike is the incredible Shoreline Access to beautiful South Santiam River, not so much the Trail itself. If you're Driving through the area, due to the shortness of both these Hikes as far as both Mileage and Elevation Gain, I HIGHLY RECOMMEND pairing these Hikes together as a two-pack, a Hiking BOGO mentality, particularly since they are both low-effort-to-high-reward Hikes! You can park in the parking lot right when you enter Cascadia Linn County Park next to the restrooms before the Campground and its a very short walk to access each Trail (they go in opposite directions but the Trailheads are in the same general vicinity within 0.1 or 0.2 miles of each other) without having to move your car between Hikes!
