President Donald Trump visited North Carolina on Friday, Jan. 24, for one of his first trips of his second term. Trump took the Oath of Office Jan. 21 in the U.S. Capitol Rotunda, officially beginning his second presidential term. During his inaugural address, he mentioned North Carolina, where Tropical Storm Helene wreaked havoc on many small towns, killing at least 104 people and displacing thousands more.
