Here’s how US banks are getting away with this scam

- Struggling homeowner takes out a second mortgage
- The bank doesn’t roll the payment into their current mortgage payment
- They never send bills for the second mortgage, so you think the payment has been rolled into your current mortgage
- YEARS LATER they send you the bill
- This gives the 2nd mortgage time to accrue massive interest, in this case doubling the amount owed plus late fees
- Law enforcement officers surround your home, evict you and take it for the bank

This is 100% real and happening, it’s called “Zombie mortgage”
