Police resolve situation in Neenah

Police held a news conference for the active situation earlier this afternoon in Neenah. Police say officers responded to reports of shots fired at an apartment on the 600 block of Main Street. Police say a man had reportedly shot his weapon at another person at the apartment. Everyone except the man got out of the apartment unhurt, while the man barricaded himself inside the apartment. SWAT team and negotiators responded, and about 90 minutes later, the man peacefully came out of the apartment. Police say one person is detained at this point, but police are not releasing the identity of that person at this time.
