Wanted suspect pulls gun on police and learns the hard way!

On Monday, January 6, 2025, at approximately 9:37 p.m., Milwaukee Police Department officers were on the 2500 block of South 7th Street seeking a subject wanted for sexual assault of a child and child enticement. The officers were informed that the suspect was in a residence and made contact with him. While communicating with the suspect, the suspect pulled out a firearm. A struggle ensued between two officers and the suspect over the firearm. One officer discharged his firearm subsequently striking the suspect. The suspect, a 19-year-old male, was arrested and transported to a local hospital for treatment of non-fatal injuries. His firearm was recovered. Criminal charges were issued by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office on January 10, 2025, against the suspect.
