This is clearly a set up lie
Conan didn’t want to look stupid so he started thinking fast and made up the bullshit about the radio when in reality he was talking about watching it on TV

Buzz has always maintained that you saw it. Everything was good until this moment here.
After this moment was when everything started coming out and buzz started cracking
