Cincinnati Shootings: Public invited to celebration of life for Prudhvi Kandepi on Sunday

The public is invited to a celebration of life for 25-year-old Prudhvi Kandepi, one of the Fifth Third Center shooting victims, on Sunday. Longtime friends of the computer engineer and consultant from India, who lived in Cincinnati the past two years, told WCPO he deserves to be remembered for more than the way he died. "He loved his family to the death. His mom, his dad and his sister were everything to him. And then we came into picture after that - his friends," said Yash Yeddulapalll, who said he roomed with Kandepi in college in India and was his friend for eight years. "He was the type of guy, he wanted to get everything right, so that he can make people happy around him," said Raghu Reddy. Sunday's memorial event is scheduled for 10 a.m to 11 a.m. at The Ramada Plaza, 11320 Chester Road, in Sharonville.
