Pesky Independent Teaches Black History Outside a Classroom?

[Washington’s Headquarters, FOB Morristown, January 24, 2025] Any station? Any station? Do you read? Over.

Live from the world’s newest banana republic. . .

Still awaiting results of random sampling in the most educated municipality in Virginia, second now only to one city one soldier, educator and author had burned in a scorched earth campaign, with boots on ground and eyes on the objective, one schoolhouse-trained intelligence collector continues in a quest to locate just 125 adults, 77.1% over the age of 25 who hold at least a baccalaureate degree, but whose children aren’t qualified to gain admission to Harvard, a scientific method, aligned with well-established genetic theory, who can recall, without a color-coded cheat sheet, basic identification information, and legibly record their name and address, and, tragically, the results are still being tallied, as the Arlington County Board considers backtracking on their pioneering efforts to establish ranked-choice voting, which many residents cannot even spell correctly after graduating from public high schools many residents claim they had come to the happiest municipality in the nation to send their offspring, about whom educators, demanding more competitive salaries, in D letter grade public schools, agree are probably better suited to pursuing careers that don’t require college. And, after going out of pocket in a futile attempt to supplement the lost cause efforts to integrate STEM training for kids who find it difficult enough to gain admission to a state college that accepts 91% of those who apply—the percentage of students who say they want to go to college—one pesky independent has heard the community cry for instruction on Black History, and is going back to his roots, where he had watched it unfold around his Sunday dinner table, engaged in conversations with the likes of Rev. Sam Proctor, Dr. Dave Shannon, Dr. Benjamin Mays, Rev. Leon Sullivan, attorney Raymond A. Brown and even the much-quoted Rev. Martin Luther King, Jr.

“Well, Howard, I still recall when Benny came to our house. You would have thought the Queen of England was coming. He arrived on a late flight from Atlanta, and after some brief familiar adult banter, he said he wanted to speak with the children. My siblings were already half asleep when he had arrived, but we all followed him upstairs to the guest bedroom, and he just began spewing like a fountain to correct misconceptions we may have gathered from others about slavery, emancipation, the early civil rights movement, and my siblings all nodded off, and he just kept on talking. Finally, when he acknowledged that my siblings were all out for the count, he changed his pitch, pointed his cane at me and says, ‘When you become a Black leader. . .’ and I was like whoa, Nelly. I’m a little preppy kid in high school, fighting hard not to become a pastor, as I was being groomed to do, and I says that is not in my plan. And, I’ll never forget how he lifted that cane and threatened me with a blunt force injury, and says, ‘So you says.’ You know, had I not been in my Father’s house, let’s just say I know I could take him,” remarked Major Mike Webb.

And one minstrel song apparently making a revival among woke and progressive voters, often polished up to remove references to a slave master, and emphasizing and “I don’t care ethos” has become the topic for Black History in a video produced by one not a serious option candidate for Arlington Public Schools, where Black kids have no role model, and apparently are supposed to vote for Black Presidential candidates who only look like them in color. And not surprisingly, the experience of someone intimately familiar with college admissions at competitive colleges is not something educators recognize as value-added.

“I was talking to one school employee, and I said I worked with admissions at Washington & Lee, and of course, since only 10.5% of colored folks even have a degree, she assumed I had to be talking about their crap high school. And she was Black. Only 13% of Black males have a college degree, and statistically, it is safe to assume if you see a Black man he probably is like the statistics, and you engage in prejudice, not taking the situation on a case-by-case basis, but in affirmative action you expect people to do what you don’t. The world does not work that way. As an experienced admissions person, looking at the statistics in Arlington, I would not waste my time, but, and you can ask, I did try on a few occasions and what happened? I got pushback from the public schools. I have a record of turnaround successes, in the military, in finance and even in politics, and now turning some corners in court, against some big defendants; however, you can lead a horse to water but recall the tale of the frog and the scorpion. Fiat voluntas tuas sicut in caelo et in terra. Thy will be done. See ya, like a tax collector, amen?” remarked Major Mike Webb.

Your elected representative is called your elected representative for a reason; and Martin Luther King and Jesus never got elected.
