RAND PAUL: “HISTORY WILL JUDGE DR. FAUCI HARSHLY”

Paul doesn’t hold back: “For over a decade, Fauci argued the risks of a pandemic were worth the knowledge gained. Most scientists disagree. The idea that we can experiment with viruses, and if it escapes, oh well—whoops, too bad—is unacceptable.”

He’s not just talking about small risks here—“There are viruses that could kill 50% of humanity. We shouldn’t be aerosolizing Ebola or mutating avian flu to make it transmissible among humans. That would be catastrophic.”

Paul also slammed taxpayer-funded experiments on such viruses, calling them dangerous and irresponsible: “Anyone wanting to do this kind of work should never see a dime of public funding. Fauci was wrong, and history will judge him for it.”
