Tom and Jerry (Puss Gets the Boot 1940)

The story begins in a household setting where Jasper (Tom) is chasing the little mouse around the house. As Jasper causes chaos in his pursuit, the housemaid, Mammy Two Shoes, warns him sternly: if he breaks one more thing, he'll be thrown out of the house ("given the boot").

Jerry, being clever and mischievous, takes full advantage of this situation. He deliberately places objects in Jasper's path, ensuring they get broken and creating more trouble. Despite Jasper's best efforts to avoid breaking anything, Jerry's cunning tactics eventually cause Jasper to break one last piece of china. This prompts Mammy Two Shoes to carry out her threat, and Jasper is thrown out of the house.
