Did you know... "each second of each day in the United States, an older adult falls. And as the aging population grows, so will the number of falls and the related cost of care." (The State of Falls in Senior Living).

So, what are other countries facing when it comes to falls in their Senior communities? In Australia, fall related injuries could be costing the health system $325 million annually, a university of Queensland study published in "Injury Prevention" has revealed. For comparison, in the United States, in 2016 there was $50 billion dollars attributed to fall related injuries and Medicare and Medicaide bore two-thirds of that cost.
