I always think about that verse—“Whoever is kind to the poor lends to the Lord, and He will reward them for what they have done” (Proverbs 19:17). The way God repays us? Well, that’s up to Him, but He does repay. And I love that we talk about this not because we’re looking for a return, but because it’s an audacious thought—just look at the mountain behind me, those snow-capped peaks. When you consider God “paying you back,” it’s almost crazy to think about! But here’s the thing—God’s repayment isn’t always what you expect.
