Rep. Jeff Crank: No federal funding to Colorado schools that resist Trump’s immigration policies

Representative Jeff Crank (R-CO) says Colorado school districts that are threatening to “lock their doors” and defy President Donald Trump’s immigration enforcement efforts should lose federal funding. “I’m tired of these people who think they have the ability to drive the foreign policy of the United States or the immigration policy of the United States. These are national issues. We need to do whatever we need to to do it.” he says. “And if it’s going to hurt some of the school districts in my state, well you know what, it’s not my problem if I’m for removing that funding. Because all they have to do to get that funding back is to comply with the law and help the federal government.”
