Posted • January 23, 2025: Democrats need to understand that they lost the 2024 election and get on with their lives because how they’re behaving is precisely why they lost. Donald Trump pardoned or commuted the sentences of 1,500 January 6 defendants. We all knew he would do this, so drop the theatrics. Also, Joe Biden pardoning his entire crime family at the last moments of his presidency undercuts any rule of law or "unprecedented action" talking points. -- Sen. Chuck Schumer chastises Trump's J6 pardons but dodges question on Biden's family pardons. And he's flanked there by Brian Schatz, who has for years lobbied for clemency for Leonard Peltier, who murdered two FBI agents. Dude, you got owned. Again, Democrats and the political class think the rules don’t apply to them. That is why Trump is back in the White House. Even Michael Steele admits Democrats cannot attack Trump for his pardons of J6ers after Joe Biden's preemptive pardons of family members, J6 committee members and Fauci:

Stephanie Ruhle: "Many of the Republican lawmakers today who were asked about these [J6] pardons, many of them pointed to Joe Biden and tried to both sides it. His last minute decision to grant preemptive pardons to his family, January 6th committee [Fauci], that was sort of their deflection." —— Michael Steele: "I think they're right to make that deflection. Joe Biden gave that political cudgel to beat back on them." —— The media breathlessly covering the J6 pardons, so they can avoid at all costs covering Biden's pardons. —— Flashback: Chuck Schumer on Trump potentially issuing preemptive pardons: “That would be a gross abuse of the presidential pardon authority.” Any comment on Biden’s preemptive pardons Sen. Schumer? (…)
