Judiciary Committee Formed to Help Republicans Uncover FBI Abuses

Multiple sources say the Judiciary Committee will create a select subcommittee led by Rep. Barry Loudermilk, R-Ga., to continue the work of the previous Congress. As House Administration Oversight Subcommittee chair, Loudermilk led the prior effort. That panel revealed 40,000 hours of Jan. 6 surveillance footage, found interviews blocked by Cheney's committee that contradicted her made-for-TV claims, and referred Cheney for prosecution for tampering with star witness Cassidy Hutchinson.
