Saving Sailor Pluto! (resin figure repaint)

Today I bring you a project that is long overdue. When I started this channel, there were 3 kits I planned to work on: the two girls Sora & Layla from "Kaleido Star", and Sailor Saturn and Pluto from "Sailor Moon". All of them were cheap resin kits from eBay, likely those infamous thai resin recasts that were circulating in the market for some time and every professional painter hated them. Years ago, those were the only ones I could afford, and as a learning experience, they were not the worst. I finished Saturn and Layla & Sora, you can check out those videos here on the channel, but never Pluto. Why? There were a lot of complications with it, and I'm going to talk about those detailed in the video.

I set the figure half painted, mostly in ruins aside, only to take it out this year, trying to salvage what was left of it. I wanted to get it done, but it wasn't easy, almost like pulling out a painful splinter from your body. There were two options: trying to save it or discard it completely. I went for the first one.

Some of the broken and missing parts had to be replaced by 3D printed items, here is the list of them, thanks for all the talented people sharing them!
