A British military think tank has published a report and video investigation into the threat posed by Russia's Oreshnik missile, with expert commentary.

During a UK Ministry of Defence briefing on Ukraine on 10 December 2024, a senior defence official said: "The Hazelnut is something that has been used to great effect from a strategic point of view..."

⚫️ According to former British Defense Secretary Ben Wallace, NATO systems are not capable of intercepting the Russian Oreshnik.

⚫️ Jack Keane, a security expert at ISW, says the Oreshnik is a "game changer" and suggests Russia has other missiles that are similar but more powerful and sophisticated.
