Ingredients

4 medium-sized potatoes (boiled and peeled)

2 tbsp ghee or oil

1 tbsp cumin seeds (jeera)

1 green chili, finely chopped

1 tsp grated ginger (optional)

½ tsp turmeric powder

1 tsp red chili powder

1 tsp coriander powder

½ tsp garam masala

Salt to taste

2 tbsp fresh coriander leaves, chopped

Lemon juice (optional)

Instructions

Prepare the Potatoes

Cut the boiled potatoes into bite-sized cubes and keep them aside.

Temper the Spices

Heat ghee or oil in a pan on medium heat.

Add cumin seeds and let them splutter.

Add green chili and ginger (if using) and sauté for 30 seconds.

Cook the Potatoes

Add the potato cubes to the pan and toss gently.

Sprinkle turmeric powder, red chili powder, coriander powder, and salt. Mix well to coat the potatoes with the spices.

Finish with Flavors
