J6ers Set Free Were Sent Out Into 10 Degree Weather Wearing Nothing But Their Jail Shirts & Slippers

Posted • January 22, 2025: We've seen some wonderful pictures and videos in the past 24 hours following President Trump's pardon of almost all of the January 6 political prisoners (a few had their sentences commuted while their cases are investigated further). Despite some criminal judges and detention officers refusing to comply with the pardons (and you can bet the new DOJ will be investigating them), there were many images of the unjustly imprisoned being freed and greeted by those who championed their cause for years, like conservative filmmaker Nick Searcy: Nick Searcy, INSURRECTIONAL FILM & TELEVISION STAR @yesnicksearcy: “I had the honor today of greeting three J6ers finally set free today in Kentucky: Bryan Smith, Edward Richmond Jr., and Chris Maurer. They were sent out into 10 degree weather wearing nothing but their jail shirts and jail slippers, but their loved ones warmed them up. The tears of joy flowed, coats and blankets were handed out.”

“There were hugs from little girls for their father, from a mom and dad to their son. Someone suggested that they take a picture with me, because they knew me from FX's Justified, and Bryan, said "Wait a minute!" He went to his wife's car, took his jail shirt off in the freezing cold, and put on a t-shirt that his wife had brought for him that said: #FJB. I laughed through my tears. THEY DID NOT BREAK THESE PATRIOTS. I got to spend just a few minutes with them, as they all had long distances to get home (another deliberate act of evil by the government to jail them far away from their families), but I at least got to hug them and thank for them for their sacrifice and for what they had done. And I said to Chris Maurer before I watched them all roll away: "I am sorry for what you have been through, and I don't know why it had to be you and not me, since I was there that day too, but I know this. What you went through SAVED THIS COUNTRY.”

“MLK said unearned suffering is redemptive, and enough people learned to see that the government was lying to us because of how badly you all were treated. "As bad as your ordeal has been, please know it was not in vain, and it was not for nothing. If we had not gone there that day in huge numbers, to try to tell the world that we KNEW Biden did not get 81 million legitimate votes, and then were willing to go to prison for that belief, there would not be a Trump 47." The J6ers are heroes. They saved America as founded. They kept the republic. And I owe them all a debt that I can never repay. I thank God for this day of freedom and liberation for these heroes, and I thank Him for allowing me to be a small part of it, and to get to know and befriend so many of them. I don't think any group of people has ever been more on the right side of history than these wrongfully accused men and women of January 6, 2021.”

“Remember that as the Democrats -- and the fake Republicans -- and their slavish media stenographers continue to lie about these decent Americans and that day and lie that they murdered police officers and tried to "overthrow democracy" and all the other utter nonsense. They will continue to lie because they can never admit that they lied. Pay them no attention, because they no longer can hurt the J6ers. They are pardoned. Forever. The January 6 defendants and prisoners saved this country for a little while longer. Trump knew this, and that's why he pardoned them all. The narrative had to be nuked, destroyed, and totally discredited. And it is. All the evil work that the operatives in these totally corrupt government agencies did for the last four years has been for nothing, and now they have hell in their future. And now that they are free, the real truth will be revealed. And the healing can begin. God bless America, and God bless the J6ers.” (…)
