We have a State of Emergency in the state from the cold temperatures and snow storms in South Georgia. The Hall county republican meeting was cancelled due to the weather.
Friday on the Georgia Hour BKP will be discussing What is next for the GA GOP. It is time to talk about what is next. It is time in GA for the GOP conventions coming in March-April. We have 14 districts in the state of Georgia. In each County, district and state convention we will be electing our GOP leaders.
Jon Ossoff and Raphael Warnock are the democrat senators in GA both voted for the Laken Riley act. If Trump’s first two years are that successful, they will be because he is charting out some things that may prove to go very well. Historically the party of the sitting president will lose seats in the mid term. There is a major discussion in GA about who will run against Jon Ossoff, we are looking at how many republicans will jump in the race. Lots of rumors around Buddy Carter, Barry Loudermilk, MTG, Rich McCormick, Kelvin King, Brian Kemp. Democrats have to concern themselves how they will vote in Trump states. Trump won GA by 2 points so it is still considered a Trump state. We have the possibility that we have democrats that will go Trump way based on the election in 2026.
Keisha Lance Bottoms is the former mayor of Atlanta that Joe Biden tapped to be in his administration. She was one of the people that was fired by Trump. She is on Politically Georgia saying that she quit before Trump could fire her.
They attacked Doug Collins in asking if he would cut abortion benefits from veterans.
