At least seven people have reportedly been killed and over thirty wounded, as Israel launches a “counter-terrorist operation” in the West Bank. As violence flares in the region, it threatens to dampen the enthusiasm of Palestinians, over Donald Trump’s return to power, and the hopes resting on him, for lasting peace.
