God's Promise, Purpose and Justice for All (pt. 2)

The question that Paul opens this section with is one that he already has the answer to. The simplified way to ask it is to say ‘is God unrighteous or unjust?’ If you have been walking with the Lord for any amount of time you and I already know the unwavering answer aligns with Paul's response ‘absolutely not’. When you develop your personal relationship with God it does not take long for you to realize that God is just, righteous and full of love for His people. We also know that God has compassion and mercy on all who receive and answer His call to serve Him. Without our acknowledgment that Jesus is Lord and the son of God and that God is the creator of the universe we will be in the same place as the unbelievers who reject Christ and God. That place will not be very pleasant and will not include beach time and fine dining because it is in damnation with Satan.

When God lives within us He will elevate us to a level that meets His standards for living a more righteous life each and every day. It is through His strength that we inherit the character, demeanor along with the temperament to fulfill the work that God has laid before us to complete. It is in God’s plan and purpose for our lives that we are going to show people what an honor it is to serve God. To show people that when God is leading our lives we will declare to the world our dedication and love for the LORD that lives within us.

Who can come against God? No one is the obvious answer to a really important question. This is extended not only to God but to His son Jesus Christ. Our authority comes from God when we follow Him. Authority is flowed down from God to us and is never flowing in the opposite direction meaning from us to God. When we talk with God it is not to give orders or to set expectations. It is to show respect to the creator of all things. As Paul points out the pottery does not control the potter just as the child does not control the parent nor does the created control the creator.

If you believe that everything is sifted through the hands of God, then you know that God is control of all things. Paul reminds us in a not so subtle way that God is the head and we are the body. Wherever the head goes the body will follow. If this is not the case you will have some serious chiropractic issues to contend with. It is through the grace and mercy of God that we will find salvation. It is through God’s will that we find our place with Him in the kingdom of heaven. It is our choice to receive the offer that God has put forth for all of mankind to receive His son the lord Jesus Christ. To have Jesus live in us and thru us.

If our goal is to make it to heaven, then we must include in our everyday life, reading the instruction set that

God has given to us called the Holy Bible. In God’s word we have all the instructions we need to live a more righteous life for Him and with Him. We can no longer continue live in the world associated with the worldly beliefs that have been in place for millennium. We must find the strength within ourselves to break away from the evils of the world to live in the kingdom of heaven. It is only through our relationship with Jesus and our daily reading of God’s word that will fill our appetites. As we grow closer to God on this earth, we grow closer to God in heaven.

My prayer is that we would seek the Lord every day for the rest of our days. I pray that God will fill the voids in all of our lives. To fill us with joy, peace, trust, and truth but most importantly to fill us with the love He has for you and I. In Jesus Mighty Name I pray this Amen! Amen!
