GLORY COOKIES
3/4 Cup Melted Palm Oil Shortening (melted)
1 Cup Cocoanut Palm Sugar
1/4 Cup Molasses
1 egg
2 tsp Baking Soda
1 tsp Baking Powder
2 Cups Einkorn Flour
1/2 tsp Ground Cloves
2 Tbsp Ground Flax Seed
1 - 2 Tablespoon of fresh grated Ginger
1 tsp Cinnamon
1/2 tsp sea salt
Roll into balls and cover with coconut palm sugar, flatten with a fork. Place on parchment paper.
Mix wet ingredients first, then add dry mixed ingredients in and do not over mix. Let sit for 10 minutes, preheat oven to 375 degrees F and bake 7 - 10 minutes. Cool on a rack. Can be easily frozen for later use.
