Presented by Joshua Vincent, Director of the Center for the Study of Economics and Cristhian Areas, the IU VP for Nicaragua now completing his thesis at the University of Peace in Costa Rica.

Case Studies: Baltimore, MD, USA and Uppala, a province and municipality of Costa Rica, an impoverished region where small farmer land has been increasingly bought up by agribusiness corporations. Land value mapping details what exactly is happening there, who owns what land and its value, and to indicate how tax shift to land value tax (commons rent) would help to again establish more small farms for regenerative local agriculture.
