YOU , ME & HER Trailer Official (2025)
Don't make it weird. Coming to Theaters Valentine's Day 2025

“You, Me & Her,” an R-rated indie romantic comedy, will be the first film to use the new Attend direct distribution platform recently launched by The Fithian Group. The film, a Two Hands Productions release, will open nationwide on Feb. 14, 2025. The film is also unveiling its first trailer.

Attend is a new experimental digital and marketing platform offered by The Fithian Group that will match producers and filmmakers directly with theaters without requiring them to partner with a traditional distributor. The goal is to democratize theatrical distribution and to enable more movies to get extensive releases in cinemas. The idea has been endorsed by several prominent filmmakers, including Sean Baker, Steven Soderbergh, Damien Chazelle and Patty Jenkins, all of whom signed a statement of support. The Fithian Group was launched in 2023 by National Association of Theatre Owners executives John Fithian, Patrick Corcoran and Jackie Brenneman

“You, Me & Her” follows Mags and Ash, whose marriage has become a series of arguments and compromises, leaving them both yearning for more. On their first vacation alone since becoming parents, their arguments threaten to ruin the trip — until they meet Angela, a free-spirited digital nomad who stirs unexpected feelings in Mags and gives her permission to be a version of herself she has not been in years: fun! Intrigued by Angela, the couple flirts with the idea of a threesome, but it’s never as simple as it seems.

The film was directed by Dan Levy Dagerman and written by Selina Ringel. It stars Ringel, Ritesh Rajan and Sydney Park.

Attend enables filmmakers to upload details and promotional materials for their films to its platform and provides a searchable database for exhibitors looking for movies to program. It also helps with the logistics of providing these films to cinemas.

“The chance to experiment and collaborate directly with theater owners on the marketing and release of our film feels like a mirror of the movie’s themes,” Ringel said in a statement. “We’re finding this movie’s potential hand in hand with the people who are bringing it to audiences.”

The Fithian Group’s Brennemean said, “The release of ‘You, Me & Her’s‘ trailer is another concrete step in the process of making our online distribution marketplace a reality. We are learning both the opportunities and the pain points for exhibitors, filmmakers and marketers that we will address with Attend.”

The indie romantic-comedy You, Me & Her will be the first film to utilize a new experimental digital and marketing platform offered by The Fithian Group that will match producers and filmmakers directly with theaters without having to partner with a traditional distributor.

The Fithian Group was founded late last year by John Fithian — who headed up the National Association of Theatre Owners for nearly two decades — alongside two of his longtime lieutenants at NATO, Patrick Corcoran and Jackie Brenneman.

Earlier this month, the consulting firm announced Attend, its new distribution and marketing marketplace that is in its experimental Alpha development phase. The goal of Attend is to match a movie such as You, Me & Her with the right makeup of cinemas based on various data. A filmmaker will upload various data into the platform, which will use AI to determine where best the movie might perform.

The platform has endorsed by a weighty list of nearly 100 filmmakers and producers including Damien Chazelle, Patty Jenkins, Sean Baker and Lorenzo de Bonaventura.

You, Me & Her, about whether a whether a ménage à trois can save a marriage, is directed by Dan Levy Dagerman from a script by his real-life wife, Selina Ringel, who also stars in the film alongside Ritesh Rajan and Sydney Park. Roberto Aguire, Marianna Burelli, Graham Sibley and Anna Campbell co-star.

“We tell stories inspired by our lives. This film was sparked by a moment that made me question my sexuality, societal conventions, and honesty in relationships, which, needless to say, was quite a journey to experience with your husband [Dagerman]” said Ringel.

As theater operators continue to suffer from a lack of product due to production delays caused by the pandemic and the labor strikes, Attend is designed to grow the annual theatrical release slate by offering exhibitors mid-range movies that have all but disappeared from cinemas, international movies seeking a domestic release, and independent movies that typically receive limited theatrical release but could gain broader audiences through data-driven theater selection, scheduling and marketing.

The Fithian Group is working with the support of The Vista Group and its leading technologies to develop the platform.

“We believe there is an enormous opportunity to rethink the way movies reach theaters and the way movies reach audiences,” says Brenneman. “Attend allows for an unprecedented collaboration between filmmakers, theater owners and marketers in expanding the reach of theatrical moviemaking. With You, Me & Her, and Dan and Selina’s embrace of experimentation, we think we have an ideal project to build the tools that will become Attend.

A24 released a new trailer for Opus, and it somehow has me even more excited than I already was. I am a massive fan of Ayo Edebiri's work, so I am thrilled to see her taking on a lead role, which she more than deserves. But it is also just how creepy the premise is that will have me seated on day one. A24 is always delivering original concepts, and it seems that Opus will be no exception to that rule. It kind of reminds me of the Menu in that John Malkovich plays a charismatic, yet bizarre, person that everyone seems to be fixated on, and Edebiri's character does not get the hype. This trailer shows just enough, but not too much.
Ten years after his debut feature Bridgend, starring a fresh-face Josh O’Connor, Danish filmmaker Jeppe Rønde returns to International Film Festival Rotterdam with his latest feature Acts Of Love. Check out a first-look clip above.

The film will debut in Rotterdam’s Harbour section. The film stars Danish actress and former ballet dancer Cecilie Lassen (Walk With Me) alongside Jonas Holst Schmidt (Copenhagen Does Not Exist). The film follows Hanna, who lives in a New Age Christian community in rural Denmark and longs to have a child. The synopsis reads: But her sheltered life starts to unravel as the unexpected arrival of her younger brother Jakob stirs up long-buried memories of their troubled past. Will his arrival threaten Hanna’s dream of becoming a mother? And will the members of the community be able to live up to their own rules and beliefs, when they are confronted with the question: who gets to decide over love?

In addition to directing Acts of Love, Jeppe Rønde co-wrote the script with Christopher Grøndahl (The Final Race). Acts of Love was one of the 19 projects that was presented at Haugesund in works-in-progress, where it won the Best Project Award, and it was also showcased at Les Arcs Film Festival’s work-in-progress section.

“With Acts of Love, I want to tell a story about how dysfunctional family patterns can ruin childhood innocence and lead to adult guilt and shame,” Rønde said. “Set in a New Age Christian community, I want to look at whether faith could be a way to embrace such guilt and shame and furthermore explore the nature of the love we seek in order to survive. Returning to Rotterdam exactly one decade after Bridgend is fantastic and I can’t wait to introduce this film to the industry and audience there.”

Acts of Love was produced by Julie Friis Walenciak and Siri Bøge Dynesen for Paloma Productions (Club Zero) with support from the Danish Film Institute and the West Danish Film Fund in collaboration with DR, Scandinavian Film Distribution and Filmbazar. Sales are handled by TrustNordisk. The film is set for a release in Denmark on 11 September 2025.

International Film Festival Rotterdam runs from Jan 30 – Feb 9.

Video game adaptations are notoriously hard to get right. Over the years, I’ve faced quite a few disappointments (looking at you, “Borderlands,” “Uncharted,” and “Tomb Raider”). So, when I heard that one of my favorite horror games, “Until Dawn,” was being adapted into a movie, my excitement was immediately mixed with a heavy dose of worry.

Sony just dropped the first full trailer for “Until Dawn” (set to be released on April 25, 2025) and I’m feeling even more conflicted. This is a game I’ve played countless times and absolutely adore, so seeing it brought to life should’ve been thrilling. But honestly? The trailer left me feeling empty. Sure, it’s only two minutes of footage, but judging by what Sony has shown us here, it has planted doubts in my mind — one being that this movie’s premise works well on its own without “Until Dawn” attached to it.

Check out the trailer below:

UNTIL DAWN – Official Trailer (HD) - YouTubeUNTIL DAWN – Official Trailer (HD) - YouTube
Watch On
For those who aren’t familiar with the game, “Until Dawn” centers around eight friends who reunite at a remote mountain lodge, a year after two sisters vanish. As eerie events unfold, players must navigate a tense, branching story filled with betrayal, survival, and supernatural threats. Choices shape the outcome, meaning the player determines who lives or dies in this thrilling blend of teen slasher and psychological horror.

The movie is taking a different approach by introducing a fresh narrative within the universe of the original game. It focuses on Clover (Ella Rubin), who, a year after her sister Melanie's (Maia Mitchell) mysterious disappearance, ventures with friends to the remote valley where Melanie vanished. There, they become trapped in a harrowing time loop that forces them to relive the same night repeatedly, each time facing new, terrifying threats. Their only hope for escape is to “survive until dawn.”

Don’t get me wrong, I always want to give video game adaptations a fair shot. We’ve seen some solid successes lately with “Fallout,” “The Last of Us” and even “Five Nights at Freddy’s” (yes, I’m a fan). And maybe “Until Dawn” will surprise me. But since it was one of my most anticipated movies of 2025, I can’t help feeling uneasy about how this is shaping up.

‘Until Dawn’ movie leaves out the best parts of the video game

If you showed this trailer to a video game fan without mentioning it’s based on “Until Dawn,” they’d probably mistake it for just another generic horror movie. Everything that made the game so engaging has been stripped away to cram it into a more manageable movie format, and it shows.

Within the first 20 seconds, I was already disappointed. The movie isn’t set on a snowy mountain lodge with that eerie, signature blue tint (one of the game’s most defining features). Part of what makes “Until Dawn” so effective is its unique setting. There aren’t many horror games that take place on an isolated, snow-covered mountain. Instead, the movie trades that in for a basic creepy house in a remote valley. It’s not remotely menacing, and honestly, it looks ... sunny? Gone too are the environmental hazards that made navigating the game’s dangerous terrain so intense. The mines, the dense forests, the punishing cold — all of which added a layer of survival horror that’s completely missing here.

And then there’s the most glaring departure: the characters and story. The movie introduces a new group of characters trapped in what feels like a horror-tinged version of “Groundhog Day.” This is a far cry from the original game, where you controlled a group of teens trying to survive the night while making pivotal choices that affected their fates.

The threat in the game was the chilling presence of wendigos (a terrifying concept that has been largely pushed aside in the movie). Sure, I noticed a familiar mask from the game and caught a few fleeting glimpses of wendigos, but neither captured the same fear-inducing atmosphere that the game delivered so well.

Most importantly, the whole point of “Until Dawn” as a game was to make players feel like they were in a horror movie, where they could control the characters’ fates. The game’s brilliance lay in forcing you to make smart decisions, knowing every choice could have serious consequences later. Turning it into a movie completely undermines that premise, and stripping away most of what made the game special leaves us with what feels like just another generic horror flick.

That said, we’ve only seen two minutes of footage so far (and I’ve already torn into it quite a bit), so I don’t want to write it off entirely. The trailer itself isn’t bad, and if you separate it from the game, the premise actually sounds pretty intriguing. I’ll definitely still be watching it in theaters, especially with the exciting cameo of Peter Stormare (who voiced Dr. Hill in the game).

I’m still holding onto hope for ‘Until Dawn’

I’m still holding onto hope for “Until Dawn.” Despite my frustrations with the movie adaptation, the game’s legacy is too strong to be overshadowed by one misstep. “Until Dawn” set itself apart as a masterpiece of interactive storytelling, where choices truly mattered and every decision carried weight. Its setting, atmosphere, and memorable characters created an experience that’s hard to replicate — and that’s exactly why fans are so protective of it.

While the adaptation seems to deviate from what made the game special, I’m not ready to give up on it entirely. There’s always a chance it could surprise us or at least introduce new audiences to the source material. If nothing else, it’s a reminder of what made the game so great in the first place. For now, I’m holding onto the hope that “Until Dawn” will get the recognition and adaptation it truly deserves.

And who knows? Sony might be playing us, and the movie could have plenty more cameos and easter eggs that made the game so fun to play. For now, we’ll just have to wait and see when “Until Dawn” hits theaters on April 25, 2025.
Marvel Rivals has a new event coming in just a few days, and NetEase has just released the trailer showcasing what's to come with the Spring Festival. There have been a few events thus far in Marvel Rivals, each usually coming with new costumes to collect, game modes to try, and other rewards.

In the latest trailer from the official Marvel Rivals YouTube channel, we get a glimpse of the latest event to hit the title on January 23. The developers state that a new limited-time game mode, Clash of Dancing Lions, will make its debut, as well as a new galley card customization event, and a free Star-Lord costume.

Several Heroes Are Getting New Spring Skins In Marvel Rivals
Costumes, Rewards, Events, & More To Come
NetEase has revealed the details surrounding the new Marvel Rivals event set to launch in just a few short days, and those who join in on the fun can earn the latest Star-Lord costume for free. The new game mode, Clash of Dancing Lions, looks eerily similar to Rocket League, as it is a soccer-like event that appears to task players with scoring goals to take home the win. More so, it seems that, alongside the goals needed, players will have to battle their opponents carrying the ball to take the lead.

The developers state, "May the golden lion's mane guide your fortune and bring you strength this season. Join the celebration now and let the magic of the Spring Festival unfold!". While not much is known about the new season, we do see that several heroes will be getting new costumes, including Iron Fist, Black Widow, and, of course, Star-Lord.

Season one, Eternal Night Falls, just went live a few weeks ago in Marvel Rivals, bringing a plethora of new content for fans to enjoy. From a new map to a massive new battlepass to costumes and more, NetEase is really pumping out content left and right. More so, we know that two new heroes are coming down the line. There have also been fan theories as to who else will be joining the hero roster, but those have yet to be confirmed by the developers.

Doom Match is a free-for-all style mode where players must defeat the most enemies to take the win while using portals placed all over the map to either escape danger or face it head-on. This new Spring Festival event brings yet another new game mode to test out, and the short footage seen makes it look enticing. Fans commenting on the X post seem to be excited as well, meaning this could rake in even more new players. The official trailer for The Z-Suite, the new Lauren Graham workplace comedy set at a boutique New York ad agency, has been released by Tubi.

Per the logline: “Advertising maven Monica Marks (Lauren Graham, Gilmore Girls) and her loyal right hand executive Doug Garcia (Nico Santos, Superstore) have long been at the top of the Madison Avenue world. But after a record scratch blunder, they are suddenly canceled, pushed out and replaced by the agency’s rising Gen Z employees led by social media manager, Kriska Thompson (Madison Shamoun, The Lake). Refusing to go quietly, Monica launches her biggest campaign yet– getting their careers back and taking down the eager team of Gen-Zers who are just getting comfortable in their new roles.”

The Z-Suite premieres on with two episodes on Tubi Thursday, February 6th, with one new episode to follow each week.

The comedy hails from Katie O’Brien (The Santa Clauses, Teachers), who serves as showrunner. Additional executive producers include Graham, Lance Samuels, Samantha Levine, Daniel Iron, Eric Wattenberg, Gary Vaynerchuk, Matt Higgins and Tristram Shapeero.

“When I first read the script for The Z-Suite, I responded to Katie O’Brien’s fresh and funny take on the workplace,” said Lauren Graham in a statement. “The character of Monica is smart, strong, and appealingly a bit unhinged. I’m excited to work with the team at Tubi as they ramp up their Originals slate and continue their ascent in the streaming space.”

Launched in 2014 and acquired by Fox Corporation in 2020, Tubi is a free streaming service with a diversified line-up of acquired product in search of a greater presence in the original programming space. The Z-Suite is the latest original entry, and here is the preview trailer:

In 2022, all five seasons were found to be available in the United States on Freevee.[9]

Premise

After initially intending to see her as a client, the two jointly start to fall in love with Izzy, who in turn starts to feel the same way. Consequently, they decide to terminate the arrangement and bring Izzy into the marriage as a lover. This opens up a world of new challenges as they find themselves having to navigate their way through a minefield of prying, nosy neighbours with narrow social norms and prejudices, while at the same time struggling to confront their own feelings and insecurities, and adjust to the unfamiliar dynamic of a non-typical type of polyfidelity relationship.
