“SUSTAINING” GRACE PART 3

GOD’S GRACE IS (1) Unconditional (2) Unlimited (3) Unending

GRACE: It’s everything for nothing to those who don’t deserve anything.

Everything God does IN us, FOR us, THROUGH us, He does by GRACE.

SUSTAINING GRACE
Preserves us in the present
Protects us from the past, and
Prepares us for eternity.

TIMES WE NEED GOD’S SUSTAINING GRACE

1. WHEN WE ARE TEMPTED (1 Peter 5:8. 1 Corinthians 10:13)
2. WHEN WE ARE TIRED (Psalm 28:7, Philippians 1:6, 2 Corinthians 12:9)

Life is a marathon – it is not a sprint.
3. WHEN WE ARE TROUBLED (Job 5:7, Philippians 4:13, Isaiah 41:10

“Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of mercies and GOD OF ALL COMFORT, who comforts us in all our tribulation, that we may be able to comfort those who are in any trouble, with the comfort with which we ourselves are comforted by God.” 2 Corinthians 1:3-4

"God is very present help in times of TROUBLE". (Psalm 46:1)

"As your days are, so shall your strength be". Deuteronomy 33:25
“My flesh and my heart may fail, but God is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.” Psalm 73:26

“When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; and through the rivers, they shall not overwhelm you; when you walk through fire you shall not be burned, and the flame shall not consume you.” Isaiah 43:2
