How to Configure Retention for File & Folder Backup

In this BDRSuite Feature video series, we will guide you through how to enable and manage backup data retention. This retention feature ensures that your Files and Folders backup data is preserved according to your specified policies, helping to optimize storage and meet compliance requirements

Steps Covered:

1. In the BDRSuite Backup Server, navigate to the 'Backup Configuration' section and select the 'Retention' tab.
2. For both incremental backups and deleted files you can configure version-based retention and retention based on number of days you wish retain data.
3. Choose the number of Additional Full Backups you wish to retain. (This option will be given only when Addition Full Backup is configured in the scheduling section)
4. Retention will be successfully configured when you save the backup job.
