Today, I listened to Mazzy Star's timeless track Fade Into You from their legendary live performance on October 2, 1994, at the Shoreline Amphitheatre. This song is one of those rare gems that keeps resurfacing throughout life, and every time it does, it feels just as magical as the first listen.

Hope Sandoval's voice is so powerful and mystic in its quiet, ethereal way. Her presence on stage, paired with the simplicity of the band, makes this performance iconic. It’s incredible how their minimalist approach allows her voice to shine and become so overwhelmingly beautiful.

1994 was a different era—before smartphones and constant distractions—when people gave their full attention to the music. Watching this makes me miss those days so much. The crowd at the Shoreline Amphitheatre that night was truly blessed to witness something this special.

Mazzy Star is a perfect 10/10 for me. This track and performance remain a masterpiece! Let me know your thoughts—do you have memories of this song or the era it came from?
