The New American Empire?

The return of Donald Trump signals the return of an old style of American leadership. Roosevelt and Monroe make a comeback from the history books to inspire the new presidency and its aspirations for the Gulf of Mexico, Greenland, the Panama Canal, and Canada. Aggressive tariffs are simply part of the America First doctrine. with Trudeau resigned, and Trump inaugurated, the American Empire is so back.
